Chimney Cleaning

For our Whare Ora services you need to be:

• A registered member of the Tūwharetoa Settlement Trust.
• Your whare needs to be within Taupō, Tūrangi or Taumaruanui.
• The legal titled owner and occupier of the whare
• Have a single story or two storey property (we are open to larger but will need to confirm safety with our contractors).
• Have a working and operational fireplace.

Priority will be given to:

• Kaumātua aged 60 years and above.
• Individuals with health conditions that prevent them from performing chimney maintenance themselves.

The details on your application will be shared with these four groups:

• our He Iwi Kāinga team.
• Dylan Hepi – Central Gutter Guys & Tu Henry – Henry Contracting Limited.
• our Funding providers.
• Fire Emergency New Zealand.
